Here is the tie tack variant of the six-color Apple hard enamel lapel pin large version (king size). This tie tack lapel pin was offered by Apple in 1983 to its customers with various objects bearing the mark.
There are two versions of this tie tack lapel pin. The original version, the one that was offered in the Apple catalog in 1983, is marked on the back with the words “APPLE COMPUTER INC.®”.
There is another version which does not present any marking. Due to the lack of marking, it is not possible to guarantee its absolute authenticity, although qualitatively the unmarked version is also of very good quality.
Obviously, a true collector will prefer the marked version.
We also offer this lapel in its simple version, with a classic fastener. Naturally, the tie tack version is much rarer, which explains its price.
