Description
This very nice square lapel pin was published by Apple computer for the launch of the Apple IIc computer, April 24, 1984, three months after the launch of Macintosh. On a red background, the lapel pin is labeled The Apple IIc in golden letters. The 6-color rainbow Apple logo is inlaid on a white background. The back of the lapel pin bears the mention of the registered trademark R at the bottom left.
This Apple IIc lapel pin mark the end of an era. The end of the Apple II range for the exclusive benefit of the Macintosh range. This lapel pin is a must have for any Apple vintage lapel pins collector.
About Apple IIc
The launch of Apple IIc was made during an event called Apple II forever. It was a sign from the firm to users that the Apple computers II series was guaranteed in the long run. Apple IIc was characterized by a neat design. It was a compact computer, easily transportable. Apple was hoping to sell 100,000 units a month, which was far from the case. Apple has sold an average of 100,000 units a year over four years.
