About Apple eMate 300
In 1997, Apple launched eMate 300. It is a derivative of Newton which is intended for schools. In Apple’s mind, it is about offering a computer that is easy to use and inexpensive, for the education market. Apple eMate included a keyboard, a grayscale display and a stylus. It was equipped with an infrared link, an RS232 socket and a very long autonomy.
Its rounded design inspired that of the iBook and its shell shape.
The market presence of Apple eMate 300 was very brief, with the cessation of marketing of Newton in 1998.
Apple organized training sessions in 1997 for future eMate 300 users. Each participant wore a badge with the words “Find your eMate”. A sticker indicated the first name of the participant preceded by the letter e, thus recalling the name of the eMate. This badge, now very rare, is also available on our store.
The Apple eMate lapel pin is a representation of the computer. The pin is gold, the screen is dark green (the color of eMate) and bears the two golden logos of the brand. On the left, the Apple computers logo and on the right the Newton logo. On the back, a grid and the word CHINA in the lower part.
This lapel pin is mint.

Motorola 040 tiny extremely rare lapel pin
For many years, Apple computers were equipped with Motorola processors. The Lisa computer, as well as the first Macintosh 128k, for example, launched in 1984, was equipped with a 68000 processor. Six years later, in 1990, Motorola announced the 68040 processor of the m68k family. This processor was supposed, in the mind of Apple, to compete with the Intel 80486 processor. The Motorola processor has equipped many Macintosh computers, including the Quadra range, in 1991, Performa, Powerbook. It is also the 68040 processor that fitted the NeXT workstation.
It was on the occasion of the launch of its 68040 processor for Mac Quadra, in 1991, that Motorola had this charming little lapel pin, made to the glory of its new line of processors.
The Motorola 040 lapel pin has the code 040 in white on a black background and in the lower part the logo and name Motorola. To symbolize the power of the new high-end processor, it is an exclamation point that dresses the number 4. The back of the pins bears the logo of the manufacturer. It is ASI, recognizable by its heart-shaped logo. It was ASI who made the legendary Mickey’s Mac Club lapel pin. This is the assurance that this pin is authentic and was probably produced at the initiative of Apple.
This Motorola 040 lapel is extremely rare. Since we collect Apple goddies, this is the first time we have one in stock.

About Macintosh 128K
Steve Jobs introduced the original Macintosh computer on January 24, 1984. This was the first mass-market personal computer featuring an integral graphical user interface and mouse. This first model was later renamed to Macintosh 128k for uniqueness amongst a populous family of subsequently updated models which are also based on Apple’s same proprietary architecture. Since 1998, Apple has largely phased out the Macintosh name in favor of “Mac”, though the product family has been nicknamed “Mac” or “the Mac” since the development of the first model. Apple IIGS a tiny beautiful very rare brooch
Apple IIGS is the fifth model of the Apple II line, it is also the most powerful. It was launched in September 1986, offering an alternative to Macintosh, launched two years earlier in 1984. The major advantage of Apple II GS was its compatibility with Apple II line software. From an aesthetic point of view Apple II GS takes the codes of the Mac. The initials GS meant Graphic and Sound.
Apple IIGS was a machine with great potential from the point of view of technology but this line did not resist Apple’s desire to focus on the Macintosh platform. The production of Apple II GS computers ceased in december 1992.
This charming and tiny brooch is testimony to the presence of Apple IIGS in the history of Apple computers. This brooch, in perfect condition is a very rare collector’s item. Small in size, it is part of the spindle collection signed Apple (I think of the beautiful and rare Hypercard brooch or Laserwriter II brooch made by Decat Paris).
dim. 20,5mm x 4,6mm (0,80in x 0,18in) the height of the apple is 8.5mm (0,33in).
The brooch is made of cloisonné enamel and film. On the left, the rainbow apple followed by the mention Apple IIgs in golden letters on a white background.

A lovely tiny rare Apple LaserWriter II brooch pin, Garamond style.
Here is a very rare brooch made by Decat, the famous French studio based in Paris, who has already produce one of the most beautiful lapel pin ever for Apple France, such as Apple cloisonné enamel lapel pin. This brooch was made for the launch of the LaserWriter II printer in 1988.
This cloisonné enamel brooch pin represents on the left the Apple rainbow, logo of the Apple Computer company, followed by the name LaserWriter II, gold lettering on a white background. The name LaserWriter II uses the Apple Garamond font which was the standard font of Apple in the late 80’s.
About LaserWriter II printer :
In 1988, to address the need for both an affordable printer and a professional printer, the LaserWriter II was designed to allow for complete replacement of the computer circuit board that operates the printer. Across all the different models, the print engine was the same.
Three years later in 1991, two updated versions of the LaserWriter II were produced (Laserwriter IIf, LaserWriter IIg).
