Vintage Apple computer Lisa lapel pin green variant

The Apple Lisa lapel pin is very well known, in its purple version. Moreover we offer a copy for sale on our shop. We recently discovered that there is a green variant of this lapel pin. We think this is a very limited version of this lapel pin, perhaps reserved for a special event (St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland ?). Anyway, you are now watching a very rare lapel pin !

It is a beautiful, mint Apple computer Lisa lapel pin green variant. Circa 1983, this Lisa lapel pin is a promo item for the mythic original Lisa computer. This beautiful Lisa lapel pin was to hand out to customers who had either asked for a demo or were present for an Apple Lisa presentation. It figures a green Apple logo with the mention of the name Lisa printed in gold. This lapel pin unused, like mint is a true collector. An Original Apple collectable !

About Apple Lisa computer

Apple Lisa (Local Integrated Software Architecture) is a personal computer that was designed by Apple Computer, Inc. during the early 1980s. It was one of the first personal computer to offer a graphical user interface in a machine aimed at individual business users. Development of the Lisa began in 1978. The Lisa sold poorly, with only 100,000 units sold. In 1982, after Steve Jobs was forced out of the Lisa project, he joined the Macintosh project. The Macintosh is not a direct descendant of Lisa, although there are obvious similarities between the systems. The final revision, the Lisa 2/10, was modified and sold as the Macintosh XL.

Since Steve Jobs’ first daughter (born in 1978) was named Lisa Nicole Brennan, it was normally inferred that the name also had a personal association, and perhaps that the acronym was a backronym invented later to fit the name… (source Wikipedia)
