Here is an official lapel pin published for the Atlanta Olympic Games with the mention of the IBM brand, official partner of the games. This lapel pin is in the image of Atlanta ! It is large in size and of very good quality, made of cloisonné enamel.
This lapel pin represents the Olympic flame and the mention Atlanta 1996. In the lower part, the Olympic rings and the IBM mark in white and silver mesh.
On the back, a serial number (5111023), the mention TM © 1992 ACOG (which stands for Atlanta Commitee for the Olympic Games) IMPRINTED PRODUCTS (which is the name of the American company that had this pin made) MADE IN CHINA (which indicates the country of manufacture of the lapel pin).
This lapel pin dates from 1990, It is interesting to note that this pin was therefore made four years before the start of the games.
This lapel pin is in excellent condition.
